Veteran's Day 2013

Our family had the privilege of going to DFW National Cemetery and helping to raise over 300 flags to fly for 2 weeks over Veteran's Day.  It was quite an honor!  It was cold outside, so we were thankful that there were many other organizations along with our cub scout troop there to help!

I took a lot of pictures and most of them speak for themselves!

All done!  Every road that wound through the cemetery was lined like this:

It was beautiful!

Halloween Night

The office staff at our apartment complex put together a Halloween Party for the kids.  They did a GREAT job!  It was their first year doing it, and I was impressed!

Even though Gaven had been on his antibiotics for over 24 hours, I almost made him leave his "mask" on just in case!

They had to try and guess all the different kinds of brains.  There were ghost brains, zombie brains, Frankenstein brains, etc... they had to guess what the brains were made out of!  When they guessed right, they got candy.

They could go fishing at dead man's lake...

Braeden is ALWAYS so helpful when it comes to helping Kamryn!  Now ask him to help his brothers and it's a different story!

They set up a haunted house through the back offices.

On Wednesday, Gaven came down with strep throat.  Poor guy!

He had a fever of 103!

Ibuprofen is our friend!

He got a weird looking rash on his leg that only lasted for 60 minutes, but itched really bad!
