It's MY turn!!

This little guy has sat through numerous soccer, baseball and basketball games of his brother's... and waited anxiously for HIS turn to play a sport.  That time has finally come.  Tonight will be our first soccer practice (I'm coaching) and he couldn't be more excited.  As were were getting dressed today, and setting aside his socks, shin guards and shoes for tonight, he asked to put them on and go out back and practice.  Since Kamryn was sleeping, I brought my camera along, too.

We'll see how tonight goes... I wondered initially if I was crazy to try and coach his soccer team while my other two are finishing basketball and then starting baseball on 2 different teams.  I figure that if I coach, I have more control over when practice will be... like I said, we'll see how that goes!!!

Boys will be boys... and girls will...

I had to get my camera out the other day when the boys were playing football out back with their buddy Colby.  I love "the huddle!"

 

...And once again, I had to be photographer before helping my little girl out of a predicament!

 

Although it doesn't LOOK like she was having much fun, don't let the picture fool you.

She was just distracted by the clip I had put in her hair in order to take a picture and be able to see her eyes.

 

All I wanted was a pretty picture of her all dressed and ready for church.  She WOULD (insert the second half of the title here: Girls will...) NOT smile for a picture!

After church we had dinner with some good friends.  Cole, sitting between Carsen and Gaven, is the son of another resident who is the same year as us.  I sure will miss Angela when we finish next year!

Not much else has been happening with us.  Just focusing on getting everyone to where they need to be, when they need to be there!

I'm finally getting around to posting more pictures.  Maybe I will get around to getting our Christmas header updated sometime soon, too!  I've been trying, with much frustration, to post some videos, but it's just not working, so in the meantime, here are some recent photos we've taken.

She's loving her Cabbage Patch doll that Santa brought her this year.  After watching Kamryn carry her upside down by her shorts, I think I now realize why she can't ever keep her shorts up.

A little summer preview.  We were trying on swimsuits to see if they were going to fit this summer.

She also loves her glow worm from my brother's family!!

If you can excuse the snot pouring from her nose (it's been constant since the beginning of December), you will see that apparently this is the new way to use a pacifier.

The sun was shining brightly through the windows, so I took advantage and snapped a couple pictures after she was done eating one night.  This was the first attempt, and then her brothers came over and actually made her smile for me!

A few days ago, I neglected to push her food far enough back on the table when she was done, and she found it after I had taken her out of her high chair.  It was a few minutes before WE found HER and this is what we found:
