Reasons to Smile!!

I don't ever feel like I am short of reasons to smile... but just in case I am, here are a few reminders of the things the TX Mannclan has to smile about:

Getting up onto the couch all by ourselves!

Having our best buddies over to play...

Family shopping trips to Sam's Club, where I was told by my 8 and 6 year-old, "Mom, this was actually A LOT OF FUN!!"

Kisses from Kammy!!!

REALLY BIG PICKLES after a long night at the baseball park!

Baby sister who wants to do everything her big brothers do!

Good buddies to go to Cub Scout Camp with!

Our first ripe tomato EVER!!

Sitting on top of the van at practice... because that always makes us smile!

Sometimes video games make us smile more than watching the baseball game going on right in front of us!

And last, you have to smile when the game of battleship you were having against yourself was so intense that you couldn't even stay awake to finish it!

July 4th, 2012

We had a couple of our close friends over to ring in the 4th!  I realized I had better get a picture of the kids in their 4th of July shirts before everyone came because it might be my only opportunity.

I was right... as soon as the other kids came, they were into swimsuits and out in the pool.

The adorable Elisabeth and Cameron! (I'm just impressed that I got a picture of the two of them and neither of them has a baby in their lap!)

Here are the babies: Peter, then Lily

Somehow this food plate got turned upside down, but you get he idea.  Some of our super yummy desserts.  Braeden, while standing by the dessert counter said, "This is the BEST kid day EVER!"

I love this picture, for a couple reasons... this is usually how we see Cameron... with at least one baby in his arms... and I just love his face and he watches Peter go to town on his fruit!

While all that was going on, Kamryn made her way outside and cleaned up after the big kids.

She almost looks like she thinks she's in trouble!

We have a burn ban here, so the best we could do for fireworks were pop-its, sparklers, snakes and ground flowers.  The kids didn't seem to mind, and had a blast anyway.

Gotta love the belly!  The food MUST have been good!

Someone was getting VERY sleepy!

We hope you all have a great 4th of July.  We sure did!
