Texas Christmas Happenings

Here is a picture of the letter that Carsen wrote to Santa "Claws."

Our Apartment office had a Christmas party for the kids.  I'll let you decide what Kamryn's opinion of Santa was:

Carsen and his buddy Cameron

A little cake always makes it better... even if there IS still a tear running down her cheek!

Our church Christmas party:
(Gaven wouldn't sit on Santa's lap at our apartment... this time he was bribed with a beanie baby that everybody got if they sat on his lap!)

All the candy and he was most fascinated by the marble maze.

Carsen (caught off guard), Kammy, Braeden, Keaton, and Addy

We celebrated Christmas at home with Jason on the 23rd since we were flying out the next day to WA.

This girl LOVES shoes.  It WAS her first word after all... no joke!

New glove

Baby bed

Movie night watching one of our new movies

The start of Carsen's infatuation with Loom Bands!
We had a great Christmas with Dad, and were all super excited for our upcoming vacation.

Broadway Santa Performance (Dec 17, 2013)

Braeden earned the lead roll in his Theater Choir's performance of "Broadway Santa."
Carsen found his best friend, Paige, as soon as we got there and went and sat in front with her (she's the one behind him in the tie-die).

The opening number... Braeden is the "jolly" one in front!

Their choir teacher made them stay on stage for pictures afterward.

Probably the sweetest thing of the night was when Braeden came out into the crowd when they were all done and asked Kammy if she wanted to sit on Santa's lap.  She did, but the whole time he was with us, she didn't know it was him!

After he took his suit off... wiped out and super sweaty!

Bears Basketball 2013-14

Braeden and Carsen played on a 4th Grade basketball team together with some of their baseball teammates.

I didn't take many pictures throughout the season because the lighting in the gym was bad and I never remembered to bring my camera.  Here are a few (mostly of Braeden) that didn't turn out too dark or too blurry.

From L to R: Carsen, AJ, Carson, Miles, Braeden, Matthew and Grayson. (Not pictured: Alex)

Cub Scout Caroling (December 2013)

Our Cub Scouts and Achievement Day girls went caroling at a local nursing home.

It was really cute because I think all of the kids thought there would be more people to sing to, but only about 4 were there to listen.  It didn't matter to the kids, they still sung their hearts out!

Krazy Kammy (December 2013)

I guess if Boys will be Boys, then Girls will be Girls!

Kammy went through a phase where if you were sucking on a mint, she wanted to "lick your mint." Being the loving Daddy that he is, Jason would let her!

She finally decided she was going to try and steal it from him.

She also likes to try and lick her brothers!
