Backing Up a Bit (Feb 14- Mar 19)

I forget when posting pictures to my blog that I have a phone now that takes decent pictures, so I use it more often.  Here are random cell phone pictures that I took between the middle of February and the middle of March.

Kamryn likes to accessorize! She's carrying her toy cell phone!

Gaven's friend Bella

Yummy Sam's Club hot dogs!

Watching our van going through the car wash

Kamryn and I went on a bike ride to Vitruvian Park.  There were ducks in the pond, and I told her if she sat quietly, they might swim over to her.  They never did, but she tried her best!

Headed to ballet

Playing "Happy Birthday" for someone in our family

There has been a lot of loom band making going on!

Celebrating their wonderful scout leader Millie (also our adopted Grandma!)

We had some visitors... My friend Jenn and her kiddos came to visit for the weekend.

We might have to get these two together later in life, too!

Neither of them could make it all the way to baseball practice!

Kamryn turned 3 on March 10.  We celebrated with some friends that also had birthdays in March.

One of Carsen's loom creations

Baseball season began in March

This was Kamryn on her actual birthday

The boys got these remote control boats for Christmas and we FINALLY took them to the pool to test them out.

Jason's tire blew out while he was headed home from work one night at 11pm... ON THE FREEWAY!

...More baseball

Baby wipe mustaches

We went shopping to spend Kamryn's birthday money.  Amazingly enough, the boys were very cooperative!

Braeden's loom polar bear... one of my favorites that they have done!

Kamryn is a very lucky girl to have such great big brothers! They would do anything for her!

Gaven reenacting a Bible story

Nothing cuter than baseball buns!

Preseason game

I bought some foam to make some shapes and fun stuff for the kids for bathtime... Braeden and Carsen took a shower before Gaven and Kamryn were going to take a bath, and this is what they did so that they younger two would see it when they took their bath!  Too cute! (We call Kammy "Kakers" sometimes)

Too Much Noise (April 29, 2014)

The kindergartners at Gaven's school put on a performance called "Too Much Noise."  Gave had one of the main speaking parts as the Farmer's son. It was so cute, and they did such a great job!

Two of Gaven's biggest fans:

Cooking It Up! (March 24, 2014)

I love that my boys love Cub Scouts.  They are motivated to earn everything that is available to them and work hard to do it!

The last thing he needed to check off to earn his Wolf was cooking an outdoor meal.

I must say, it was mighty delicious!

Closing Out February...

Gaven celebrated the 100th day of school by wearing 100 Band-aids stating that he "survived" 100 days of school.

It used to be that trains would fall off the track at our house because of another train or because the boys were being a bit too rambunctious, but now it seems like they have been run off by the princess parade!

Here are the boys working hard on their Valentine's for their classmates.

Undoubtedly the biggest news of February was Jason signing a contract with a practice in the Seattle area.  We are finally headed back home!!
...And that wraps up February!

Ballet (February 7, 2014)

Kamryn was VERY excited for her first ballet class.

Waiting patiently while I checked her in:

All ready to go

After class is over, they get a stamp on their hand.  It's one of Kammy's favorite parts of ballet!
(Try and look past the need to be clipped, dirty fingernails!)

Sock Hop and Snow Angels (February 6, 2014)

The boys had a sock hop at their school and decided they wanted to dress up.  I think the only reason they wanted to dress up is because they got to wear jeans instead of their school uniforms!  Nonetheless, they let me slick their hair and roll their sleeves, so I called that good.

That same day, while they were at school, it snowed!  Kamryn and I went outside for a little bit because I'm pretty sure this is the first snow she's ever been in!

You can't be in the snow for the first time and NOT make a snow angel!

The boys came home and we went back out with them.

It wasn't a ton of snow, but we made the most of it!

First Lost Tooth (February 2, 2014)

Gaven lost his first tooth! He was so brave and pulled it out all by himself!
