Bringing in May

The other day, while enjoying the sunshine out back, Gaven found himself a friend.  This poor caterpillar didn't know what he had in store for him!

I was proud of Gaven for being such a good friend to Mr. Caterpillar!  He protected him the entire way up the climbing wall!

Kamryn even got to go swimming in our pool for the first time this season!

When the big boys got home, they swam, too, and then relaxed in the sun.  Hard life!

Later that night, we went to Texas Roadhouse with Grandma.  While we were waiting for our table, the boys wanted to see what it would feel like to be a REAL cowboy!

Gaven had to concentrate really hard to crack his own peanuts! After all the baseball games and practice with sunflower seeds, he's become a pro!

The waitresses took a break from serving and put on a little line-dancing show right behind us.  Kamryn was fascinated!!

SOCCER PARTY
We celebrated our soccer season with a pizza party Saturday night.  I'm so proud of my kids.  Even though we don't keep score, there was NO DOUBT that we were undefeated!

The whole team, minus Caden
(L to R: Jacob, Jackson, Gaven, Kayla, Erin, Trap and Anita)

Grandma made these cute little cupcakes for the kids and their families.  We forgot to take pictures of them before the kids ate the ones that had their numbers on them, so we stole Gaven's number really quick and took a picture.  They turned out really cute!

The Rest of April

SWMEA CHILDREN'S SOCIAL
On Saturday, April 28th, we headed to the end of the year children's social for the Scott & White Medical Education Alliance that I am a part of.  The kids had a blast!

Here's our Hammy Kammy!!

Cheesin' it up for the camera!

Very few and far between cuddles from Kamryn...

Playing "get you" with Grandma...

Radiology Craw Fish Boil
Later that night, we all headed to one of the Radiology Staffs property for the annual craw fish boil.  My mom came with us and then took the kiddos home after dinner so Jason and I could stay.  I really wish that I had taken some more pictures... especially of the craw fish or our great Radiology friends.

I DID get the kiddos playing with some of the other kiddos.

More baseball

That concludes my April pictures.  Stay tuned for May!
