It was TOO much fun watching Kamryn open the rest of her presents the morning after her party. She loves her ride-on toy from Grandma and Papa Abrahamsen, so it was hard to get her off of it and interested in the other presents at first. Carsen helped her open her card from Auntie Sabra and read it to her.
We finally got her pulling at the tissue and thought she was going to open it...
...But then she took off down the hallway with her card.
She came back and sat on her toy and then FINALLY decided to open Auntie Sabra's gift...
Once she did, she didn't have to be naked anymore!
From then on out, there wasn't a problem keeping her interested in opening presents. She was "OH SO SERIOUS" the whole time she opened... taking the time to enjoy every present. I LOVE that difference in her compared to the boys!
She LOVED her card from GrAuntie Debbie. We even found her kissing herself in the mirror that is on it later in the day!
It makes me smile to start to see the differences in having a girl and having a boy. My boys have always been very gentle and sweet, for being boys, but with Kamryn, it's taken to a whole new level. She must have sat and looked at her book for over 5 minutes. My boys would have NEVER done that at the age of 1!!
