Believe it or not, baseball wasn't the ONLY thing that we did when Uncle Chris was here. He made me laugh when on Saturday, 6 days after he arrived, he told me that was the first time he had seen me in something other than my Lookouts shirt. It's sad, but true!
We had some fun out back in the pool!
Gaven labeled Uncle Chris as Mt. Midoriyama from American Ninja Warrior! That little boy cracks me up!
Uncle Chris is such a good sport!
He couldn't leave Texas without experiencing Backyard BBQ, in our opinion, the best BBQ place around!
Even Kammy agrees!
We DID spend some lazy time together!
We enjoyed Grandma's peanut butter, chocolate cookies!
Have I ever mentioned how lucky we are to have such great friends here? We went to a local neighborhood pool with some of our friends and had a great time!
Gaven loving some "Daddy time!"
My best George Washington impression. The boys got quite a kick out of this. It doesn't seem quite as funny now that I am posting it on my blog... and I'm second guessing that decision!
Enjoying a yummy lunch!
It's been SO super hot here! Really the only way to be outside is to be this close to a pool!
My brother and his mini-me!
Baby Corbin enjoying some watermelon!!
On Saturday night, we headed to Texas Roadhouse for some more grub.
Kamryn is going through such a cute stage where she LOVES giving kisses. I leaned over and gave her a kiss and then she turned to Uncle Chris with her lips puckered... what's a guy to do? He leaned in and it was picture perfect!
Jason would put a piece of steak on his fork and it wouldn't last long!
Grandma getting in on the love...
We had so much fun with Uncle Chris here, we are already looking forward to his next visit!
