January Pictures

I'm finally getting around to posting more pictures.  Maybe I will get around to getting our Christmas header updated sometime soon, too!  I've been trying, with much frustration, to post some videos, but it's just not working, so in the meantime, here are some recent photos we've taken.

Enjoying a beautiful sunny day in the neighborhood, watching the boys ride the 4-wheeler!

Braeden's first time on... Nathan rode with him to make sure he could "handle it."

Giving it a go by himself.

Gaven got a turn this time, too.

Bath time for the 2 little ones:

She's loving her Cabbage Patch doll that Santa brought her this year.  After watching Kamryn carry her upside down by her shorts, I think I now realize why she can't ever keep her shorts up.

A little summer preview.  We were trying on swimsuits to see if they were going to fit this summer.

She also loves her glow worm from my brother's family!!

If you can excuse the snot pouring from her nose (it's been constant since the beginning of December), you will see that apparently this is the new way to use a pacifier.

The sun was shining brightly through the windows, so I took advantage and snapped a couple pictures after she was done eating one night.  This was the first attempt, and then her brothers came over and actually made her smile for me!

A few days ago, I neglected to push her food far enough back on the table when she was done, and she found it after I had taken her out of her high chair.  It was a few minutes before WE found HER and this is what we found:
That's it for now. I will continue to try and post the videos that I have, but until then...

Off-Roading it

While Braeden was at a friend's house playing, Carsen's buddy Colby invited him to go with his dad and ride their 4-wheeler.  He was REALLY excited!  I went and took a few pictures.  This open area is just a block away from our house.

Carsen and Colby

He was gunning it on the straightaways!

After telling Braeden, he's pretty anxious to get a turn!

First B-Ball Game 2012

It's the start of another season... this time Basketball.  We are spoiled once again to have the boys in the same age division.  I can't even tell you how nice it is to have them on the same team!  Our first game was this past Saturday.  Carsen got to start the game and scored the first points of the game!

The got to play together the next quarter and I love this picture because they are both in it!

Pulling up for 2...

I didn't get as many pictures of Braeden because he didn't handle the ball as much, but here is one that I DID get... I even got it going through the hoop!

Carsen again...

We'll have to work on that left hand!

Braeden IS left-handed, so I'm not sure why it looks like he's shooting with his right.  Maybe that's why the littlest guy on the court blocked his shot!!
I was so proud of the boys for playing so hard!  They had some good passes to their teammates as well as some great rebounds, too!  I'm sure there will be more pictures to come as the season progresses.

Wrapping up our Vacation

Here are some last pictures I took while in Washington over Christmas.
Gaven got a Lightning McQueen/Mac Lego set for his birthday and hired his brother to build it for him.  I don't think there had to be much negotiating!

Kamryn had her first donut...

I think she likes it!

Thumbs up from the big boys

"Thumbs up" from Gav

If you saw my Christmas post, you saw that the way we had the boys open one of their gifts (a trip to Legoland) was to hide individual Legos and have them find them to spell out the word LEGOLAND.  They LOVED it and decided to do their own version with Auntie Colee (my sister).  They gave her little clues to help her find her letters.

Auntie Colee
We weren't sure if Bailey was protesting the end of Christmas or if she had just found a spot that the kids couldn't get to her!

What is crazy about this picture is that my mom's cat, Bailey, doesn't so much enjoy the kids being around.  She does okay with the older ones, but she gets her panties in a bunch when they get close to her hissing, meowing and batting at them (she doesn't have front claws, so she can't hurt).  Braeden was sitting on this chair and Bailey jumped up to sit next to him all on her own.  It's the first time she has ever done anything like this.

Little Missy decided to walk while in Washington.  She was SO proud of herself!  I'm proud of her that she kept up with her brothers, walking at only 9 1/2 months!

...And here is the proof that all good things must come to an end!  We DID eventually have to come back home, and this was my pile of clothes after unpacking the suitcases!
(I have to say, it's still rather refreshing to see some pink and purple in that pile)

Braeden and Carsen have been saving allowance and birthday money for a while to get a couple Star Wars Lego sets that cost an arm and a leg!  They finally had enough, and with the help of Grandma's shopping skills (finding them for great prices), they were able to buy them.  They got them in Washington and had to send them home with Daddy before getting a chance to work on them at all, so it was the first thing on their list of things to do when we got home.

Carsen and his Boba Fett Slave I

After playing with his Lego set in Washington, Gaven wanted to take it apart so that he could build it when we got home.  He still needs a little help!

I got out of the shower to find Gaven "entertaining" Kamryn, who had woken up from her nap.

Time to get those cabinet locks back out!

This one is for GrAuntie Debbie...

School has started back up, and we are back into the swing of things.  I got an iPad for Christmas and have been a little spoiled at the ease of using it compared to this old dinosaur of a computer... but I will try and continue to keep this thing updated.  Just bare with me if I'm a little slow!
