Saturday morning we all headed to Carsen's basketball game. Once again, Uncle Erik was behind the camera.
A couple of the pictures turned out a little blurry, but I put them on here anyway because they are good action shots. We'll cut Erik a break, these little guys are pretty speedy!
He has his head up bringing the ball up the court, now we just need to work on him actually "seeing" his teammates!
I love these next 2 pictures because when Carsen was right in front of me, he started to jump and take a shot, but after he was in the air, he changed his mind...
When he landed, he turned to me with a look on his face like, "Oops, I just traveled!" The ref didn't call it, so I told him to pass it. I think it's cute how Uncle Erik captured the look on Carsen's face as he was turning to me!
The little guy that was guarding Carsen the whole game was super speedy. It was fun to see Carsen have to really turn up his wheels and his brain in order to get shots off.
At halftime, I challenged Carsen to get more rebounds! I was so proud of him in the second half for getting in there and getting some boards. Here is a series of pictures that show that: He starts on the backside of the pack...
All his hard worked paid off and he got the board!
After the game, we headed to Shipley's donuts for some donuts and kalaches.
At home, Carsen and Auntie Colee played a game of "PIG." If I remember correctly, Auntie Colee won!
Gaven was doing tricks for Uncle Erik on his scooter, tongue out and all.
