For the last weekend of Christmas break, we decided to head over to Conroe (near Houston), to spend the weekend with my childhood buddy, Josh and his family.
I love this picture (completely unposed) of the 4 kids watching TV while I finished up some last minute packing.
This is the beautiful view from the kitchen of Josh's house right out onto Lake Conroe. It surely didn't hurt the eyes to wake up to this for a couple of mornings.
The kids were in heaven with the two dogs that were super cuddly and sweet!
Even though it was a bit chilly and overcast, we took some time to go out and feed the birds.
Josh has 3 boys also, ages 6, 5 and 2, so they have some pretty cool toys that MY boys LOVED! We spend a lot of time on the go carts!
Kammy wanted a ride, so Braeden happily took her on a couple leisurely laps.
Then Josh broke out the gas-powered remote controlled cars.
This time, "Kammy do it!"

I love this picture of Kammy asking Josh's mom, Joann, with her eyes if she could have a bite of the banana.
Brock and Carsen again.
On Sunday, we got to watch the Texans win with some "REAL" Texans!

Braeden being piled by the 3 Reynold's boys!
More feeding the ducks (out of order)
We spent some time at the park playing kickball and baseball.
It's always sad to say goodbye, but we're grateful we got to spend the weekend together!
L to R: Kamryn (1), Braeden (9), Carsen (7), Mick (2), Luke (6), Brock (5) and Gaven (5).
The whole gang
