Let the Good Times Roll

The next day, we took some time to relax at my parent's house.  We had only gotten just a couple hours of sleep, as Kamryn had a really rough night.  It was nice not to have any place to go or be... at least for the first day.  It was good that it happened that way because once Thursday came, it was non-stop from there.

My Aunt Des happened to be visiting from CA, so she came over Wednesday morning while we were still zombies just to say hello before her flight took off a few hours later.

It was a PJ kind of day.  Even when my brother and his family came over later that night to say hi, we were all still in jammies!

THURSDAY

 In the morning, we went over to Jason's grandparent's house.  When Jason was a kid, he LOVED his grandma's dilly beans (green beans dilled like pickles).  He broke open a jar to let the kiddos try it out.  Despite the face, Braeden approved.

Kamryn MORE than approved.  She hollered at Jason any time the dilly bean was too far to suck on.

After Jason's grandparent's, we headed over to his little sister Dara's house.  It was the first time the kids met their dog, Daisy, and they all LOVED her!

It was cute... when the boys showed up in their football jerseys, Landen (Dara's little boy) went and got his on, too.

Finally, Jason's mom was back with Jason's oldest little sister, Sabra.  There were some excited boys to see her!  Carsen was excited, he was just mad in this picture because we told him he had to behave for the picture.  You can see how well that went over!  Jason's brother's little boy Trevor (Carsen's age) was able to come over and play, too.

Once again, Gaven's eyelids became a little too heavy to hold open!

Later that night, we went to a local high school girl's basketball game to watch one of my high school teammates coach and to meet up with another one of my teammates.  It was great to see them both and I'm sad I didn't take more picture other than the one that I got of Braeden and Carsen (behind Braeden) sitting with Angelina's boys Josiah and Brayden. (Once again, it must have been football jersey day!)

We finished off the night with our Christmas book and everyone was soon fast asleep!

This next picture was actually the next morning... This is one of those, hold that thought and let me go grab the camera moments.  It's funny how my mom was giving me a hard time for leaving her like this and going to get the camera before helping her, but when we are in TX, she appreciates that I capture these moments so they can see them, too.

She had completely high-centered herself on the shelf.  Even though it looks like her right foot is touching the ground, it was not.
